Nowadays, the property stretches from 650 to 950 meters a.s.l. and faces up to the natural Park of Mt. Etna. Established in 2008 by Nino Bevilacqua, engineer deeply in love with his homeland. His passion for Sicily has led to rediscover and restore an old and characteristic rural estate with numerous small plots of land which shape as amphitheater of terraces where vineyards are grown. The property is also made up of small stonewalls running along the vineyards and small woods of oak and chestnut trees. The stonewalls mark off the territory where the Nerello Mascalese, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir are grown taking nourishment from the fertile land of Mt Etna, symbol of Sicily worldwide.
Excellence at all stages in the full respect of the land is the distinctive point for Terrazze dell’Etna and the Enologist Riccardo Cotarella. Old manual expertise is today combined with advanced technology in order to produce wines with unique personality.
