AVIDE winery dominates an ancient landscape, characterized by geometric labyrinths of dry-stonewalls, artistic in their natural design and often in a shadow of carob-trees. The historical activity of the winery started a century and a half ago, in 1882. The vineyards, about 70 hectares, are right at the heart of the D.O.C.G area of the Cerasuolo di Vittoria, a territory where, excellent red wines are produced traditionally.
Strong points of AVIDE are its entrepreneurial skills, technical know-how consolidated by family tradition. Today, Giovanni, Lidia and moreover Marco, the agronomist, represent the new generation and the continuity of this antique family tradition of wine-makers
